What is Molto?

    Molto is a digital newsstand that distributes magazines to tablets and smart phones. This service allows you to browse all of the magazines included in your plan, anytime, anywhere, simply by downloading the app in the App Store and the Google Play Store.

    How do the plans work?

    Each plan offers a different selection of magazines, so you can build your dream library by subscribing to one or several plans.

    he Molto Essentiels plan gives you access to all the current weekly and monthly magazines, in addition to several back issues.
    The Recipe Collection gives you unlimited access to all the special edition cooking-themed issues, in addition to the magazine La Semaine Cuisine and several back issues.
    The Decor Collection gives you unlimited access to all the special-edition decor-themed issues, in addition to several back issues.

    How many issues do I have access to per subscription period ?

    It all depends on the plan you choose. Some magazines are published weekly, while others are published monthly or bimonthly. The special editions are published periodically. Remember that your plan also gives you access to several back issues.

    Do I need to be connected to the Internet in order to read my digital magazines?

    No, you only need an Internet connection when downloading the magazines. Once the magazines have been downloaded, you can browse through them whenever you want—no Internet connection required.

    How do I download an issue?

    Once you have subscribed to at least one plan, or once you have bought a single issue, you can download any of the issues that interest you simply by typing in the name of the publication in question (example: 7 Jours). A list of the available issues will appear. Download the one(s) that you want by tapping on their cover.

    What happens if I close the app when a magazine is downloading?

    The download is simply put on hold until you reopen the app and continue with your download.

    Where do I find the magazines that I have downloaded ?

    In your library, which can be accessed via your device’s menu.
    If you recently downloaded an issue and it is no longer visible in your library, tap the icon in the top right-hand corner and select REFRESH PURCHASES.

    How do I delete the magazines I downloaded to make room on my device for more storage?

    Tap the menu icon and go to My Library. Select the issue you wish to delete, then tap the trash bin icon.

    How do I unsubscribe from Molto?

    Your subscription is automatically renewed every month, unless you cancel your subscription within the prescribed 24-hour period preceding your subscription anniversary.

    For how long can I keep the magazines I’ve downloaded ?

    Your magazines do not expire. Once downloaded, an issue remains in your library until you cancel your subscription.

    How will I know when a new issue becomes available?

    For best results, update your device:

    1. 1. Go to the APP STORE.
    2. 2. Tap the UPDATE icon located in the bottom right-hand corner.
    3. 3. If the Molto app appears in the Update list, tap on UPDATE. If the app does not appear in the list, it means that it has already been updated.
    4. 4. If prompted, enter your Apple ID and password and tap OK.

    Your iPad will proceed with the update.

    Checking your device’s storage space :

    1. 1. Go to SETTINGS.
    2. 2. Tap on GENERAL, then USAGE.
    3. 3. Under the AVAILABLE header, you’ll see the space available on your device. Under MANAGE STORAGE, you’ll be able to see how much storage your apps are currently occupying.
    4. 4. If you are out of storage space, delete any apps you no longer use, transfer your photos and videos to an external storage or upload them to the cloud (iCloud), or delete past issues of downloaded magazines. You’ll be able to retrieve them by downloading them again in their respective apps.

    Uninstalling/reinstalling the app :

    If, after following all these steps, you’re still experiencing problems with the app, please uninstall and then reinstall it by following these instructions:

    1. 1. Tap and hold the Molto app icon until it starts to shake, then press the “x” that appears in the upper left-hand corner of the icon.
    2. 2. Confirm by tapping on DELETE. Don’t worry, you won’t cancel your subscription by doing this.
    3. 3. Go to the APP STORE.
    4. 4. Tap on the SEARCH icon located at the bottom of the screen and type in “Molto.”
    5. 5. Tap the cloud next to the Molto app in order to save it to your home screen.
    6. 6. Open the Molto app and log in to your account.

    Download with peace of mind:

    Digital magazines are large files to download. We recommend using a powerful and secure Wi-Fi connection. For best results, use your home’s Wi-Fi connection. We recommend downloading only one magazine at a time.
